Abstract art is basically the visual language of any shape, color, form or style which is independent of any actual object or real things that exist in the world. Abstract is departure from the reality into the imaginary world.

Abstract art was initiated in modern period and continues to exist today. Even the use of abstract art is increasing day by day and today’s generation also tend to understand the creativity of abstracts. The percentage of abstract artists is increasing as per need with their high quality work. It has own reality something into itself or an idea of something that actually doesn’t exist.

As abstract paintings are made without the base of an actual object from the real world. Now, the question is how a viewer be able to understand the abstract painting? The answer is if the viewer or the buyer connect with the painting or click them immediately from the mind, they will buy it because abstract art is interpreted by the opinions, feelings, movements or sensibilities. If you are a non-artist, it will be difficult for you to understand the nature of abstract painting.

What is Modern Art?
The Modern art is an art form which started during the period of 60s and extended upto 1970’s after that abstract art comes into play. There is no perfect definition to a modern art but what we understand is more important. Modern art is representing things in a stylish way like artists gave their work a unique style with use of lines, shapes, forms and more colors.

During old times before 19th centuries people tend to fix the standards that what actually is an art or what is not. But during 19th century standards got changed. Artists started to challenge the definition of art. They started neglecting the traditional assumptions and exploring the new modes of expression by rejecting the monotonous standards of art. This led to modern art movement where people started to use new methods to build their own unique piece of artwork that people also understand.

During the 19th century, many artists started to make art based in their own, personal experiences and about topics that they choose. Many artists began exploring dreams, symbolism for the depiction of their subjective experiences. Challenging the notion that art must realistically depict the world, some artists experimented with the expressive use of color, non-traditional materials, and new techniques and mediums.
